We feel that we have made substantial achievements in almost all of those six objectives. UCLA faculty gave 31 lectures at 17 universities in 4 Latin American countries, lectures that received high evaluations. We conducted two joint research projects, the first culminating in a conference in 2009 and the second in a conference in 2011. The Center for Korea Studies fosters teaching, research, and outreach related to Korea at the University of Washington and in North America. To this end the Center currently supports a Korea Studies colloquia series, a visiting scholars program, student scholarships, international student exchange programs, an outreach program to K-12 educators, Korean language textbook development, and the publication of research on Korea in concert with the University of Washington Press.해외한국학 중핵대학 육성사업 | Clark W.
